TeeFour Productions is the creation of Ted Menzies, a photographer and video maker with 20 years of experience working for clients both large and small. Early in his career, Ted worked on the team that launched CNN/SI, a joint cable channel from CNN and Sports Illustrated magazine. As the picture editor, his job was to create compelling video essays from the vast archive of Sports Illustrated photography. Additionally, he was charged with creating image-based graphics for video packages across CNN networks.
When the two media companies merged their web operations, Ted was put in charge of photography there as well. This included the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue online edition, where his work was seen by millions of viewers. He contributed daily photo essays and helped put together interactive packages that were heavy on photography.
CNN made the decision to get out of the sports business just at the time when a new generation of digital cameras was gaining the capability to shoot video. Knowing this was where his heart was, Ted left the Time Warner media empire to strike out on his own, bringing along the skills he learned in creating great video stories, the highest quality online photography, and the storytelling that brings together any media.
In this new age of social media marketing, Ted combines all of his knowhow to help clients create content that can be distributed across online networks. That means videos for YouTube or Vine, photos for Instagram or Flickr, postings for Facebook or Twitter, and interest-centered sites on Pinterest and Tumblr. If you need help getting your message out across any or all of these outlets, please get in touch to find out how TeeFour Productions can help you succeed.
